CASSAVA FUFU COMMERCIALIZATION IN NIGERIA

Fufu commercialisation project in Nigeria was funded by the UK's Department for International Development (DfID) and implemented by the Natural Resources Institute of the University of Greenwich and the University of Agriculture Abeokuta in Nigeria. The project worked with fufu processors in southwest Nigeria to develop a more commercially oriented dried fufu which is now widely available in supermarkets in Nigeria.
Fufu is a traditional cassava food product made by fermenting peeled cassava roots. Unlike in some other countries, fufu in Nigeria is made from 100% cassava
