Nigeria's reforms designed to reposition country as a diversified economy

Nigeria Africa's most populous Nation is also ranked as one of the fastest emerging economies with a growth rate of about 6 percent, interestingly its political economy has harped more on the petroleum sector than other ones.

Prior to the discovery of Oil in the Nation, the key economic indicator was the agro-industry which characterized huge investments from then regional governments.

But there seems to be a phenomenal resurgence in the sector as the present administration and some private sector players (foreign and local) are investing and partnering to catalyze aggressive and robust agro initiatives that will boost food production in the country, that will guarantee sustainable development.
